How quickly care requests connect with a provider

A benchmark from 16,231 provider connections made through Carevo. It measures time to the first provider accepting a connection—not time until assessment, appointment, or care begins.

Response benchmark by service

Only service groups with at least 50 claimed connections appear below. A faster platform connection does not imply better care quality or immediate capacity.

Response benchmark by state

State results include all service types and suppress samples below 30 connections. Different service mixes and provider coverage make state comparisons descriptive, not league tables.

How the benchmark is calculated

Unit: a Carevo lead notification marked as connected, with a creation timestamp and a connection timestamp. The elapsed time is the difference between those timestamps.

Aggregation: approximate median elapsed minutes and the share at or below 60 minutes and 1,440 minutes. Invalid negative durations and durations above 100,000 minutes are excluded.

Thresholds: this report requires at least 50 observations for a service and 30 for a state. The source template uses a 30-observation minimum where a service-level value appears on a directory page.

Limitations: Carevo is a growing connection platform, not a population sample. A connection means a provider chose to receive the contact details; it does not prove availability, eligibility, assessment, appointment, or service delivery.

Families never pay Carevo. Providers pay a subscription to connect with families, with no commission or paid ranking. How Carevo works
