Yet the way families find a provider hasn't kept up: long phone trees, broken forms, callbacks that never come. The provider a family ends up with is usually whoever called back first.

Free for families, always
Families, participants and carers never pay Carevo. The platform is funded by provider subscriptions. Carevo charges no commission, per-connection fee or success fee.
Matched on real behaviour
Carevo does not vet, screen, inspect or endorse providers or workers. Registration labels are copied from public government registers and can be out of date, so confirm them on the register before you decide. Ordering is informed by how providers behave on Carevo, including how reliably they respond and follow through.

Sydney-based, UNSW graduate. Leads strategy and operations, focused on getting families to the right provider quickly and keeping Carevo free.
Buddhika Jayawardhana
Co-founder & CTO
15+ years in software engineering, formerly at Coviu (CSIRO telehealth).
Melbourne-based engineer. Previously at Coviu, the CSIRO-founded telehealth platform used by 100,000+ allied health professionals. Builds Carevo's matching and notification systems.
Gemma Foxton
Customer Lead
Former support worker, NDIS family member. Not a clinician.
Sydney-based. A former support worker for whom the NDIS is personal, Gemma looks after families and providers and guides people through paperwork-heavy decisions.

Transparency
How is Carevo free?
Any provider can have a free listing and claim its profile. To connect with a family and receive their contact details, a provider needs a paid subscription. Paid plans start at $499 a month and each plan includes a set number of connections per month. Carevo does not charge a commission, a per-connection fee or a success fee, and takes no share of what a provider earns from the care it delivers. The subscription price is the same whether or not a family goes on to use the provider.
No provider can pay for a higher position, a badge or an activity rating on Carevo's public pages. One side effect you should know about: accepted enquiries are the largest ranking signal and feed the activity rating, and only subscribers can accept enquiries, so subscribers are more likely to have the enquiry record these measures reward.
