How we research and check our content
NDIS and aged care are high-stakes topics. Here is how we keep what we publish accurate, sourced, and honest about what it is and is not.
Named, accountable authors
Every article is written under a real, named member of the Carevo team, with their role and experience on a public profile. We do not publish anonymous or AI-bylined content. You can see who wrote a piece, and read their background, on each author page.
Primary government sources
NDIS rules, aged care policy, pricing, and eligibility claims are checked against Australian Government primary sources, including the NDIS, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, My Aged Care, Services Australia, and the Department of Health and Aged Care. Where we state a figure or rule, we link to the source so you can verify it.
Kept current
NDIS and aged care change often. We review and update key funding, pricing, and policy pages as the rules change, and show the last updated date on each article. If a page is out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
General information, not advice
Our content is general information to help families understand their options. It is not medical, financial, or legal advice. We always recommend confirming details with your provider, plan manager, or the relevant government service before acting.
A connection platform, not a provider
Carevo helps families find and compare NDIS and aged care providers. We do not deliver care, and we do not individually vet providers. You can confirm any provider’s registration on the official NDIS and aged care registers.
Corrections
If you spot an error, email [email protected]. We check reported issues against the primary source and correct anything that is wrong.
