Use this code for the management and administration of NDIS funding. This covers the cost of financial intermediaries who process claims, manage budgets, and handle the paperwork associated with running an NDIS plan. Plan managers use these codes to bill for their services.

Common billing scenarios

• A provider delivers this support and claims the quoted rate per unit. The claim is submitted with documentation of the support provided.
• A participant receives this support on a regular basis. The provider submits claims after each service delivery with appropriate records.

Provider notes

• Capacity Building funding is time-limited and goal-oriented. Document how the support contributes to the participant’s plan goals, as this will be reviewed at plan reassessment. Unlike Core funding, Capacity Building budgets are usually not flexible across categories.
• When billing under this code, make sure the support delivered matches the description in the NDIS Support Catalogue. Mismatched codes are a common audit finding. Keep records of the date, time, duration, and nature of each support session.
