Use this code for Supported Independent Living (SIL) support delivered on a Saturday. SIL involves shared or individual living arrangements where support workers assist with daily tasks. Saturday loading is higher than weekday rates but lower than Sunday or public holiday rates. SIL pricing is usually determined through a roster of care, so make sure the correct time code matches the shift being worked.

Common billing scenarios

• A provider delivers this support and claims $2785.13 per day. The claim is submitted with documentation of the support provided.
• A participant receives this support on a regular basis. The provider submits claims after each service delivery with appropriate records.

Provider notes

• Short notice cancellation fees apply. If a participant cancels with less than 7 clear days notice (or 2 clear business days for some supports), you can charge up to 90% of the agreed fee. You must document the cancellation and have the cancellation policy in your service agreement.
• This is a Core support, which means participants can generally use their Core funding flexibly across different Core categories (unless their plan states otherwise). Check with the participant’s plan manager if you are unsure about flexibility.
