About Andre
Andre is the co-founder and CEO of Carevo. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing, and a Bachelor of Arts from UNSW Sydney, where his majors were International Relations, Politics, Information Systems, and Media and Communications, graduating in 2014, and went through the UNSW 10x Founders accelerator in 2023.
That grounding matters here, because the NDIS and aged care are downstream of government policy. A background in politics and international relations is why Andre follows the legislation, reviews, and reform that decide what families are actually entitled to. His information systems study informs how he writes about digital tools and matching, and media and communications helps him put complex rules into plain English.
Before Carevo he worked at Prezi and at myInterview, a video interviewing platform that was later acquired, and he spoke at the Google Cloud Summit in Sydney in 2025.
His perspective is also personal: his father went into respite and then palliative care. That experience of navigating the system as a family member shapes how Andre writes about the strategic side of the NDIS and aged care, including funding, eligibility, plan management, and the decisions families face when care needs change.
