What the role involves

An NDIS plan manager handles the financial side of a participant’s plan. The work centres on paying provider invoices on time, tracking spending against each budget category, and giving participants regular statements that show what has been used and what remains. Others need patient explanations of what their funding covers. Many also work with a support coordinator, so you would liaise with coordinators and providers as part of the role.
