Do not book an excluded service on the assumption that a report or plan reassessment will make it claimable. Discuss an appropriate disability-related allied health pathway with the treating team.
Private fees and insurance
Practitioners set private session fees. Ask for a written quote covering session length, travel and cancellation charges. Confirm recognition and any rebate with your health fund before booking; membership or a provider number does not establish that your policy covers the session.
