NDIS Capacity Building: To access support coordination, your NDIS plan must include funding in the Capacity Building budget for this support category. Not all plans include support coordination. Changing coordinators: You can change support coordinators at any time. Give notice as required by your service agreement, typically 14 days. Engage a new coordinator before ending the existing arrangement to ensure continuity, particularly if a plan review is approaching.

A support coordinator helps you turn your NDIS plan from a document into real, working supports. They connect you with providers, help resolve problems, and build your confidence to manage more of your plan independently over time.

Your first meeting will be a conversation about your goals, your current situation, and what is and isn't working. From there, your coordinator develops a service implementation plan.
