What CB Daily Activity is and how this tool helps

Capacity Building - Daily Activities (often called Improved Daily Living) is the part of an NDIS plan that typically pays for allied health when those supports build your skills and independence. This calculator does not replace your plan or invoices. It turns your annual budget and chosen therapies into approximate hours using published price limits so you can compare scenarios before you book or review your plan.

How NDIS therapy price limits work

Registered providers cannot charge above the NDIS price limit for a line item unless a different rule applies (for example after-hours or travel, which this tool does not add). The limits in this calculator match the standard weekday therapist rates used for common CB Daily therapies. If your provider charges less, you will get more hours than shown. If you use assistants under supervision, hourly rates are often lower than the lead therapist rate.

Splitting one budget across several therapies

Many participants fund more than one discipline from the same CB Daily pool. An equal split is a simple starting point. Custom percentages help when one therapist needs more hours this year (for example speech after an assessment, or physio during a rehab phase). The percentages apply to the session portion of your budget after your report reserve.

Why reserve part of the budget for reports

Assessments and reports are often billed in hours, not as a separate line in your head. Setting aside 10-20% is a practical way to avoid overstating how much face-to-face therapy remains. Your reserve choice here is only a planning habit; real report costs depend on your provider and goals.

Choosing providers and getting plan advice

Self-managed and plan-managed participants can often choose registered or unregistered therapists, subject to NDIS rules and your plan. Agency-managed participants need registered providers. Carevo connects participants with providers; we do not deliver therapy. For plan funding and reviews, talk to your planner, local area coordinator, or a qualified professional with your full circumstances.
