How we rank providers
Rankings in Tasmania are based on real outcomes between providers and families on our platform. They are recalculated daily and cannot be purchased or influenced by advertising.
- How this list is built. Providers shown here are registered with the NDIS for Household tasks, or offer domestic help and cleaning, related disability and aged care services, and support work. Generalist providers who only mention this service in passing are excluded, so the list reflects genuine, demonstrated capability.
- Outcomes with families. We measure what happens after a family contacts a provider. Providers where families report positive outcomes rank higher. Multiple signals are weighted across a rolling window.
- Service match. Providers are ranked by how closely their registered services and capabilities match what you are searching for.
- Registration and compliance. NDIS registered and government-approved aged care providers are weighted for meeting quality and safeguards standards.
- Local presence. Providers confirmed in Tasmania rank above those covering only the broader region.
What "Trusted" means. The Trusted badge is awarded to providers with a consistent record of positive outcomes with families on our platform. It is based on multiple behavioural signals and family feedback, and it cannot be purchased.

How to check a provider's credentials

Gardening Services by suburb in Tasmania
Browse providers in the busiest areas, or use any suburb page to see who services your postcode.
What counts as light gardening under NDIS or Support at Home?
Light gardening is routine outdoor maintenance such as lawn mowing, weeding, pruning of small shrubs, and leaf clearing, not heavy landscaping or tree removal. Under the NDIS, yard maintenance is only funded where it is an essential task a participant cannot do because of their disability and it meets the reasonable and necessary criteria (NDIS Pricing Arrangements 2025-26), so it is not a generally available service. On the aged care side it can be funded through Support at Home or the CHSP for eligible clients.
Who it is for and how it is funded
Eligible groups are NDIS participants for whom yard work is an essential, disability-related task, and older Australians accessing Support at Home or the CHSP for basic home maintenance (Department of Health and Aged Care 2025). Veterans may also access safety-related garden maintenance through DVA Veterans’ Home Care, capped at up to 15 hours in a 12-month period subject to assessed need. Funding is not automatic in any stream; it depends on assessed need and plan or program rules.
