How we rank providers
Rankings in Australian Capital Territory are based on real outcomes between providers and families on our platform. They are recalculated daily and cannot be purchased or influenced by advertising.
- How this list is built. Providers shown here are registered with the NDIS for Support Coordination and Assistance in Coordinating or Managing Life Stages, Transitions and Supports, or offer support coordination. Generalist providers who only mention this service in passing are excluded, so the list reflects genuine, demonstrated capability. This support is new or still rolling out, so these are the closest-matched providers based on the criteria above while the dedicated program is established.
- Outcomes with families. We measure what happens after a family contacts a provider. Providers where families report positive outcomes rank higher. Multiple signals are weighted across a rolling window.
- Service match. Providers are ranked by how closely their registered services and capabilities match what you are searching for.
- Registration and compliance. NDIS registered and government-approved aged care providers are weighted for meeting quality and safeguards standards.
- Local presence. Providers confirmed in Australian Capital Territory rank above those covering only the broader region.
What "Trusted" means. The Trusted badge is awarded to providers with a consistent record of positive outcomes with families on our platform. It is based on multiple behavioural signals and family feedback, and it cannot be purchased.

What is an NDIS navigator?
An NDIS navigator is a new role recommended by the NDIS Review to help people with disability find and coordinate support, both inside and outside the NDIS scheme. Navigators are being co-designed and piloted between 2026 and 2028 as part of the government’s disability reform response (NDIS Review, 2023). The role is separate from NDIS support coordination, which is funded inside individual plans.
How to choose a provider for this service
The list above is ranked using the criteria explained in the methodology above it. Four checks matter when you compare providers doing this navigation work today.
Registration. Confirm the provider is registered against the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission register, not just listed on its own website.
Response time. Navigation needs often surface around a plan review or a sudden change in circumstances. Check a provider’s actual reply speed against the response-time table further down this page.
Pricing transparency. Support coordination is paid from a plan’s Capacity Building budget at the rate set in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements 2026-27. Ask for that hourly rate in writing before you commit.
Coverage. Support coordination is named in 180 of the 4,347 tracked inquiries on Carevo, but coordinators aren’t rostered everywhere, so confirm local coverage first.
Which funding pays for navigation support, and who qualifies?
The navigator role itself won’t sit inside individual NDIS plans; it’s being commissioned directly by government as part of the reform response to the NDIS Review, available to any person with disability regardless of NDIS status (NDIS Review, 2023). Until it rolls out, the funded equivalent is NDIS support coordination, paid from the Capacity Building budget in an NDIS plan at the rate set in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements 2026-27. It’s available to NDIS participants whose plan includes support coordination funding, generally following a planning meeting where the National Disability Insurance Agency assesses the need for coordination support. People not on the NDIS can access foundational supports once that program rolls out, without needing a plan.
Availability
Support coordination providers doing this navigation work today are listed among Carevo’s 28,004 NDIS providers across 4,782 suburbs nationally, with records updated 2026-06-27. For participants who want the plan administration side taken off their hands, a plan management provider can pair with a support coordinator so you have more time for the supports themselves.
How this page is compiled
The provider rankings and figures on this page come from Carevo platform records, including provider registrations, measured response times and coverage, together with the cited official sources.
