Families Who Arrive Ready: Innovative Care WA on Carevo
Most provider stories we publish start with a provider who was short of clients. Innovative Care’s starts somewhere else. It had staff, it had referral relationships, and it had capacity across Western Australia. What it did not have was a steady, predictable flow of families who were ready to start.

A provider built around capacity
Innovative Care describes itself as a Western Australian disability and aged care provider, and the thing it leads with is staff. In a sector where families often hear “we have no availability”, that is unusual.
We are recognised for our exceptional workforce capacity, rapid response times, and our ability to deliver reliable, culturally diverse support workers who align with each client’s individual needs.
Its services run from daily living and community access through to therapy supports, nursing and specialised care for complex participants. The team says families and referrers choose it for a simple reason:
We are dependable, easy to work with, and able to mobilise staff quickly anywhere in the state.
Before Carevo: good channels, uneven flow
New clients came the way they come for most established providers: support coordinators, plan managers, brokers, hospitals and word of mouth, plus enquiries through its website, social media and community networks.
None of that stopped working. The problem was the shape of it.
While these channels were effective, they were inconsistent and required significant manual follow-up and relationship management.
For a provider whose advantage is that it can start quickly, an unpredictable pipeline means capacity sitting idle between referrals. That is the gap Innovative Care wanted to close.
Why they tried Carevo
The reason was timing. A referral network sends you people when a coordinator thinks of you. A family searching for support is looking right now.
We wanted a more predictable and high-quality stream of enquiries from families actively searching for support. The platform offered a way to connect with people at the exact moment they needed services, rather than relying solely on referral networks.
It also hoped to take some weight off intake, which is where manual follow-up eats the most time.
When the first enquiries arrived
The first thing the team noticed was not volume. It was that families already knew what they needed.
Our team immediately noticed that the families were well-informed and clear about their needs. The details were accurate, the clients were ready to engage, and communication was straightforward.
That changed the work that followed. With accurate details up front, the team could respond quickly, onboard faster and allocate staff without waiting on missing information.
A family who could not find capacity
The example Innovative Care chose is the situation its whole model is built for.
A family in Perth needed reliable daily living support and community access. They had already struggled to find a provider with capacity. Through Carevo they found Innovative Care straight away.
We onboarded them within days and matched them with a culturally aligned support worker. The family expressed how relieved they were to finally receive consistent, dependable support.
This is the part that matters for families reading this, not only providers. When a family is told “no availability” several times, the problem is rarely that support does not exist. It is that the providers who have capacity are hard to find at the moment they are needed.
What has changed, in numbers
Innovative Care did not give a single headline figure, so here is what it reported and what Carevo’s own records show.
What the provider reports:
- A clear increase in high-quality enquiries.
- Several hours saved each week on intake administration, because enquiries arrive with complete information.
- A noticeably higher conversion rate from enquiry to active client than its other channels.
What Carevo’s platform records show, as of 17 September 2026:
- Innovative Care joined in April 2026.
- It has made more than 150 connections with families since then, each one a family it put its hand up to help.
- It is listed across 57 suburbs in Western Australia.
A connection is a family the provider offered to help, not a signed client. Innovative Care has not shared how many became active clients, and we do not publish a conversion figure we cannot check.
Searched-for enquiries against everything else
We asked how families who found them by searching compare with leads from elsewhere. The answer was direct.
The difference is substantial. Families who come through Carevo are already engaged, informed, and ready to begin services. They know what they want, respond quickly, and move through onboarding faster.
Compared to other lead sources, where information may be incomplete or clients may not be ready, Carevo enquiries are more direct, more reliable, and significantly easier to convert.
Other providers have also described families arriving with a clearer intent. Clover Leaf Sanctuary found real clients from only five suburbs. The common thread is that a family who searched may be at a different stage from a name passed along a referral chain.
What surprised them
The quality of enquiries and the responsiveness of families has been a pleasant surprise. We also appreciate how simple and efficient the process is; the platform integrates seamlessly into our workflow without adding extra steps.
What they want us to do better
Innovative Care was positive overall, and specific about three changes. We are publishing them in full, as we do with every provider story.
More reach in regional WA. Its workforce covers the whole state, including remote communities, and it wants more visibility outside Perth. Regional families often have the fewest options, so this is a fair ask.
Better tools for managing enquiries. It would like to track what happened to each enquiry, automate follow-ups and keep communication in one place.
Fewer providers per family at first. This is the most considered suggestion:
Allowing families to choose only three providers initially, and then offering another three only if the first options don’t work out, would reduce overwhelm for families and ensure providers receive enquiries that are more intentional and easier to convert.
It argues this would be fairer, cut duplicated contact, and make the experience smoother for families and providers alike. It is a real trade-off. Fewer providers means less duplication and less pressure on families, but it can also slow things down for a family whose first three options have no capacity. We are taking it seriously for that reason.
Their advice to other providers
Carevo is absolutely worth trying if you want consistent, high-quality enquiries without spending time chasing leads. The platform brings families who are actively searching for support, which means less admin, faster onboarding, and stronger conversion.
The consistency of enquiries has exceeded our expectations.

How this story was put together
Susan Hart from Carevo’s provider team spoke with Innovative Care on 4 September 2026 and sent the ten questions we ask every provider. Vish Patel replied in writing on 7 September 2026, and the quotes above are from that reply, lightly trimmed. Enquiry and suburb figures come from Carevo’s platform records. Innovative Care is a paying Carevo customer. Carevo is a connection platform: we connect families with providers and do not deliver care or endorse any provider. Read our editorial standards.
