NDIS line item code lookup
Search the support catalogue by code fragment or plain-language description. See indicative 2025-26 limits, units, and registration groups so you can line up claims with the right item. Carevo connects participants with providers; we do not set NDIA prices.

How to use this tool
- 1. Enter a search term (optional) and choose a category tile.

- 3. Copy a code from a row, then cross-check the NDIA price guide for your claim period and state if needed.
Code format
Structure: Segments such as 01_011_0107_1_1 identify category, item, and variant (including time-of-day or travel suffixes where listed).
Quote-only items: Some lines show “Quote” instead of a dollar cap; those rely on agreed pricing within NDIA rules.
Disclaimer: This tool is for reference only. Rates and items change with NDIA updates. Always verify line items and limits in the official catalogue before invoicing or financial advice.

How NDIS line item codes work
Every funded support in the NDIS catalogue has a line item code. That code tells payment systems which support was delivered and which price limit applies. The description and registration group help you confirm that the item matches your worker’s qualifications and the participant’s plan.
Reading price limits and units
This table shows indicative limits from the loaded dataset (NSW column where present). Units such as per hour, per day, or each affect how you multiply quantities. Where you see “Quote”, the catalogue is not showing a fixed cap in the same way; you still need an agreed price that complies with NDIS rules.
Category filters and plan budgets
Category tiles follow the leading digits of the support category (for example 01 for daily life, 04 for community participation). A participant’s plan groups supports into budget types such as Core and Capacity Building; the category number on a line item is not always the same label as the budget line, so use plans and quotes alongside this lookup.
Legacy items
Items marked Legacy in results are retained for transitional arrangements. If you are setting up new service agreements, prefer current items where the NDIA has published replacements, and check whether old codes still apply to existing service bookings.
Before you invoice
Treat this page as a fast index, not the legal source of truth. After you pick a code, confirm the same item and limit on the NDIA site for your invoice date and the participant’s funding arrangements (including any state or remote loading rules that apply to that claim).
Frequently asked questions
NDIS line item codes are unique identifiers used for invoicing NDIS supports. Each code corresponds to a specific support type and has a price limit in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements. Providers use these codes when claiming payments for services delivered to NDIS participants. Codes use a structured format such as 01_011_0107_1_1, where each segment relates to category, sub-category, and item variant.
The NDIA publishes current items and limits in the Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits and the Support Catalogue. This tool searches a snapshot of that data for speed. Always verify the published rate for your claim date on the official NDIS website.
Most social and community participation supports sit in Category 04. Examples often used include:
- 04_104_0125_6_1 — Access community social and rec activities (weekday daytime)
- 04_104_0125_6_1_S — Saturday variant where listed
- 04_104_0125_6_1_U — Sunday variant where listed
- 04_102_0125_6_1 — Group-based options where applicable
Search this tool for the exact wording; limits update with the price guide.
Enter a keyword or code fragment (optional), choose a category tile, then click View NDIS Codes to load the table. You can match:
- Full code (e.g. 01_011_0107_1_1)
- Partial code (e.g. 01_011)
- Description keywords (e.g. personal care, community access)
Each row shows the code, description, indicative limit, and a copy button.
Personal care is usually billed under Category 01 (Assistance with Daily Life). Common patterns include:
- 01_011_0107_1_1 — Assistance with self-care activities (standard)
- 01_011_0107_1_1_T — Provider travel where applicable
- 01_015_0107_1_1 — High-intensity personal care where listed
- 01_012_0107_1_1 — Shared living assistance where applicable
Weekend and public holiday lines use suffixes such as _S, _U, and _P where the catalogue lists them. Match the item to the service actually delivered.
